Rotary Youth Exchange provides a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the many cultures of a different country and a new way of life.

Often, you will make life-long friendships with the families, Rotarians and fellow Exchange students you meet, helping to build goodwill and understanding between countries.

who you are

We offer two exchange programs:

Long Term allows students aged 15-18 to spend a year abroad, attending secondary school and living with 3-4 host families. During this exchange, you'll gain self-awareness and learn about your host families' culture and country's diversity.

Short Term is a reciprocal student-to-student, family-to-family exchange lasting 6-12 weeks. You must host your matched international student in your home at an arranged time.

In your host country you will experience different foods, study different subjects, enjoy a new culture and a new way of living and most likely learn a new language.

During your Exchange you'll learn a lot about yourself, become more confident, mature and independent.
